HARNESS WIRING  CONVERSIONS

All harnesses are setup to function exactly like the OEM engine harness; this means that all your instrumentation will work (speedometer, tachometer)if properly calibrated, CONSULT is wired in for diagnostic purposes (only if chassis supports it), and is designed to generally make your life a whole lot easier so you just have to get the motor into the car.  We recommend that you install aftermarket water temp and oil pressure gauges to insure you know what your motor is doing and will provide more accurate readings.  In almost all cases you will leave your lower(starter/alt/trans) harness in place to use again.
WE DONOT DO ABS OR AIR CONDITION WIRING AS THESE HARNESS ARE FOR RACING AND OFF ROAD USE ONLY…

Each harness is cleaned up and stripped of unnecessary plugs for a much cleaner look to it, and all connections are carefully soldered and shrink wrapped for longevity and reliability. NO butt connectors are used on ANY harness that is converted by McKinney Motorsports inc.
.   Opening of the harness or mods will void warranty.
Please be aware that any cut harness (this includes harnesses that may have been tempered with for add on components such as fuel management piggy-backs) are subject to refusal or extra charge. Missing  or broken plugs can be replaces only if the available  from NISSAN  USA and cost includes shipping to us by NISSAN.

It is important that you supply us with your original harness from the car the motor will be installed into, this will ensure proper functionality of all sensors..

Prices  reflects that you intend to send both original engine harness from the car that is receiving the motorswap, including the engine harness(S)  from the donor engine.

Depending on the workload  that we have when you harness get her lead time  to get your harness back will differ usually 1-4 weeks but we cannot guarantee that….
Our STL rewiring system will allow the motor to be install into ANY car with you only having to hook-up 4 wires and the motor will run.
MCKINNEY  wiring  for  STL system has mods for non-Nissan and  other than 240sx  wiring. There are internal and external mods to the harness to make this work. Trouble  shooting procedures are as stock ,however,  wiring ,  “IS NOT” the same  it function the same as stock but routing and wire color and connection are different.
